Before joining the Royal School of Needlework, I read Ancient History and Classical Archaeology at the University of Warwick and embroidery was just one of my hobbies. It was whilst considering various career options that I made the decision to turn this hobby into a career.
I have always enjoyed sewing and the thought of having a job I greatly enjoyed was obviously appealing. I began my apprenticeship at the RSN in 2001 and completed it in 2004. Whilst at the RSN I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.
I am now working at the RSN as a member of the studio team and am still enjoying embroidery every bit as much as when I first began.
